KBF’s participatory grant-making process brings together community leadership, philanthropic partners, and nonprofit experts.
In other words, we need community volunteers. Interested?
Volunteer Opportunities:
Advisory Committee Member
The Advisory Committee plays an integral role in deciding which nonprofits are selected for our Cohort process. The Advisory Committee is comprised of community members with nonprofit, philanthropy and business experts.
Commitment: One AC meeting, with the possibility of more involvement over time.
Cohort Advisor
The Cohort Advisor provides guidance to our Cohort nonprofits. The Cohort Advisor is a voting member of the Cohort and actively participates in quarterly Cohort meetings. The ideal Cohort Advisor possesses expertise in nonprofit and/or business operations.
Commitment: Minimum of 2 years totaling 8 Quarterly Cohort meetings
